Spring Awakens

Geese gather on a pond
Singing out a joyous call
To me out on the prairie.
Nice color at a church I attended.

  4. You have some great places to walk! I love the shadows the tree's branches make on the ground. I know it is wonderful to enjoy the beauty of God's world, hear the geese, enjoy the lovely stained glass windows of the church.

  13. Still a few patches of snow on the ground and no green in the trees yet. It won't be long now, though, as the sun shines more hours of the day and works its magic on the landscape.

  16. Hi Steve, I did not know that you wrote the poem you shared until today. I appreciate the gift of your poignant words very much. You continue to be in my prayers as I know it is a difficult time. Thank you for sharing with me so that I may lift you up to the Lord for peace/strength. I know you have the support of your church friends and you stay busy with groups who uplift the community and help those in need. Your post yesterday of the blessings you shared with moms reminded me of this Bible verse: Matthew 5:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
    May God bless.
