Here And There

A light dusting of snow
Falls so silent that nobody might know
Melting as fast as it came.

A Nice Selection To Share

Long Eared Owl
Saw Whet Owl
Rogue Dandelion

Do you know what they herd?

That smile that could melt hearts and soothe the soul of all around. Every shot I share of my youngest grand is a treasure to me, she reminds me of her mother at the same age and the pride I held being a father for the first time. I filled albums with hundreds of pictures with my children, I still shot film and often took a pair to make sure I got the one I wanted. My extras I shared with their grandparents and other family members. Now I am the grandparent and head of my family, times change so quickly when you are enjoying life so well. Those early family times seem often just like yesterday and my youngest daughter is still my baby, even though she is now a mother and 26. Of course when I talk I still  hear a young man, it just is more of a challenge to act like one. Life is full of challenges and I accept each one as something I need to do, especially if I have never tried it. Join me as we all celebrate life out on the prairie. My happiness is shared with you on a gentle prairie breeze, moving across the land for all to enjoy.

Smiling Is Good Exercise

The diamond shaped yellow sign denotes a deer crossing, so they were just following the text.
When you are smiling
That whole world smiles with you

That red sunset has landed a few nights already this month, a sailors delight.
