Winter Love

Peace and happiness
To all of you
As we finish out another year.

This is six years ago and I couldn't believe how plump Santa was, oh wait I was. Santa you could use a pillow maybe! Want to use mine?

Sun reflects off the white rumps of these Canadian geese

Trumpeter Swans landing makes me feel that this is just one accomplishment I have worked on that has benefited so many. The large tracts of prairie I have restored are like children spread all over the plains. Each time I visit they greet me and make me smile. My happiness drifts across the land on a gentle prairie breeze for all to enjoy. There are so many people who have worked on conservation projects that never get an applause, but yet always feel it deep in their heart and soul. I am but one of many and hope this legacy gets carried on by many whom I have touched their hearts with shared interests, programs and the beauty of the world around us.

Snow Magic

As that end of the year comes near
There is no question why we are here
But to share our happiness with  the world we live in
Happy Holidays from out on the prairie.

Care for a cookie, all you want to eat. Making macaroons today, a little fudge and whatever you want to stir or help make. These were all shared in tiny library boxes  around three towns.

Getting Closer

Each day we begin
Is often generous to add
Happiness shared with many
So how could it ever be bad?

Loving you today

Duckie in the red gloves just kept coming up with as he explained some wonderful ideas.
