A Few Good Thoughts To Share

That first day of school always leaves good thoughts of when I took their mom.

Someone's baby has gotten loose.

My oldest, a chip off the old block

A favorite time
To be at the lake
A favorite view to see.

When I sit on the water
I often feel the previous visits
And feel so young again.

Today And Tomorrow

Good Morning little friends

GM Futurliner and a tiny Spitfire. What a pair of classics!

Who took my chair? Dude, I hope you aren't shedding!

Not something to find under your sink maybe

Sunday Stroll:Monarch Tagging

A flit of a wing
A tiny delight
 Did I catch one
And handle it right?

This year marks my 25th year tagging Monarch Butterflies as part  of a migration study performed by the University of Kansas.  This cluster was just across the street from where we were going to tag.

Wow, I finally caught one! That first catch thrill will last a lifetime, and I hope make a difference in many lives to come.
A charming Grandmother attending to a release.

 Wendy on her first capture.
Placing the butterfly on ones nose makes a good photo shot as you say, "Adios", and send them off to Mexico.

A smile that could launch happiness throughout the prairie, carried on a gentle prairie breeze.
