Sunday Stroll: Endless Horizions

Eastern Goldfinch
Who?
As I share with you my day
I want to share that I love you
For who you are
And what you mean to me
Out on the prairie.

Even with a few imperfections, nature shares some of the most unusual beauty and spirit with me. I am at one with my surroundings and thrive best when out in the fields and forests that surround me. I hope you have had a wonderful day and it continues on through your week. Peace, love and happiness to all who I know and have met.

  1. Love these images. Especially love the last. So hard to capture insects who love to dart around, but they are worth the effort!

  3. It looks like a damsel fly but might be a dragon fly. At any rate it is staring right into your camera with a vicious look on its face.

  4. These are all perfection, Steve. The owl made me smile...I almost missed seeing him. The dragonfly shots are beautiful, but I'm concerned about the angle of the abdomen in the last one. The flowers, the goldfinches, the heron, the corn...all wonderful shots.

  9. Good Day, Pretty pics. I especially love the goldfinch and his reflection. When I enlarge each photo, the clarity and detail of the dragonfly is amazing. What is the white flower?
