Sunday Stroll: Reiman Gardens

These wake me up when they are shedding. LOL Almost as bad as mushrooms emerging.
What can be even more fun than watching the ice melt and float away. A trip to a butterfly garden in Ames, IA. During the warmer months the outdoors is decorated with beautiful plantings, but a need for warm and flowers sent me here. This ice was a favorite shot with all the reflection so perfect. The sun was hitting it making it light up also.

One lands on my knee to let me enjoy it better. I laughed thinking if one clapped their hand like swatting a bug it may gain attention.

An orchid show was just finishing up

As I came out I was greeted by Snow Geese flying in huge flocks.

Visit Marcie the originator of Sunday Strolls. Her Quiet Country House in Michigan is always a treat to visit.

  1. The butterflies are fantastic! I've never grown orchids, but they sure are pretty. How nice to see the snow geese, also. Hope you have a nice week.

  4. The ice made a beautiful photo, but I much prefer the flowers and butterflies. I really liked that shot of the snow geese, too.

  7. Flying north I hope. Our deer haven't started shedding yet so I hope it is near. Most of them, we find along fence lines.
