Sunday Stroll: On A Windy Day

On a windy day the  cornstalks sway
The birds who have left are happy to be away
Weeping Willow branches swing and sway
On a windy day.

Even milkweed seed get caught in the windy disarray.

Last summers home is solid and here to stay

Workers putting mulch down have dust in our face they say
On a windy day.

  1. Good Afternoon, I hope you are enjoying the weekend. These are pretty photos from your windy day. I love the bird's nest with the sun lighting up the golden leaves. The milkweed is pretty, also. Your fall colors are gorgeous. I think this weekend is peak color for our leaves. One good rain and I believe the trees will be bare. Have a good week.
