An exciting adventure looking at the land and the people around me.
Nice antlers! lol
Marvelous shots. Thank you
I would love that avian sanctuary. The bullfrogs start their tuba concertos every evening - back and forth. Very loud.
Nebraska has great wildlife. One town I lived in had millions of toads that came out of the root cellars when it rained. The highway would be covered with them and they popped as cars ran over them.
You got a very good look at some interesting critters.
Such a great series of images, Steve. These are all things that I seldom see. The picture of you with the antlers really made me think about what a load those must be on the heads of the animals who wear them.
the cranes winter down here. I was lucky enough to catch them in the air one morning flying in circles in a column, 'ketteling', before they took formation and flew off.
All the critters are wonderful to behold...even that guy with the glasses and antlers. ;)
I have one that would come scoop up all those frogs!
Really wonderful shots indeed, thanks for sharing and warm greetings!
Wonderful photos. We had wood ducks at one of our former homes. Thanks for sharing about your Aunt making the hats. I remember the big hat boxes...they were as much fun to play with as the hats!
My what big antlers you have lol
Oh what a fun adventure and what fun shots! Love the little ducks. Wouldn't it be terrible to be a bird, like the eagles, and be grounded? I guess they get used to it.
All great pictures. I like the antlers.
What a plethora of photos! I can't pick a favorite. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Steve - delightful ... and lovely to see the birds close up - love your antler shot! Cheers Hilary
I appreciate you stopping by the blog today. Wishing you and your family a blessed and safe holiday weekend.
Love the wood ducks- and those antlers are huge...can you imagine carrying those heavy things around on your head all day? Have a happy 4th!
Great photos! Really enjoyed them all!
Keep it positive and informative,I enjoy hearing from you!
