A Bit Of White Too

A nice sunny day after a few days of spring like weather

Taking a break making a family

Open the barn please

That first little bit of snow is nice, but today it is pushing in harder. It is a grim reminder that winter is still with us and going to give us a cold blast after a few days of warm. Saw a few cars in the ditch while shooting some pictures of the snow just a little bit ago. Over a foot(30cm) has fallen north of me about 100 miles(160.9km).

  1. That hint of snow just gilds everything with beauty. Love it. The cows are really speaking to me today. lol. Their faces are perfect.

    1. I had nice backlighting on those cows, worked well with the white heads.

  2. It can be easy to be lulled into a false sense of spring and then winter hits hard again! Lovely photos of the barns and cattle and river!
    Stay safe on those roads!

  5. We got about 12 inches. And my son had some medical testing to be done early this morning. The half hour drive took quite a bit longer both ways. At least the roads were a little more clear on the way back and the snow had almost stopped.

  7. We've had a week or more of temperatures in the sixties, but winter is due for a return. Tonight there were thunderstorms, bringing in the change of weather. The fresh snow beautifies the dreary landscape. I especially liked the shots of the river and that great tree.

  8. I like seeing the bald eagles. They're so interesting to me. I saw one flying in the distance while I was on the road the other day. No chance for pictures. It's the second best look of one I've ever gotten.
