The Color Begins

Mother Nature paints the hillsides
In brilliant colors and hues
Those colors always amaze me
So I felt I should share them with you.

Goodie goodie gumdrops
My mother would always say
She often placed them in a candy dish
My favorite to this very day.

  2. Hi Steve - thanks for answering my previous comment re the Osage Oranges ... interesting poisonous fruit - really useful tree.

Lovely colours ... especially that house hiding in the woods ... the blues are wonderful ... and candy - nope not for me ... other types = yes! Good memories of our mothers though ... cheers Hilary
