Magnolia Blooms

The sun peeks over the trees along the riverbank announcing a new day.

A tiny park, Little Bridge Park,  in a tiny town of 600. Someone enjoyed carving a few statues placed in this park, perhaps made with the wood of a tree that stood there.

Come back sun, where are you going?

Babies cuddle
In the sunlight
Ready to play
When it warms.

A new toy for Billy, a much needed tool at the farm.

Cold night have nipped the pretty flowers

  3. I like wood sculptures. I wish I could create like that. How come you have all those flowering trees? Ours have not begun and I keep reading that your temperatures are colder than ours.

  5. we have a southern magnolia tree which hasn't started blooming yet but all the smaller ones, the japanese magnolias always bloom so early, they are done by March. that white shrubby one one is beautiful. I'll have to get one of those.

  7. I like those wood statues. Any blooms we had here got frozen in the snow we got last week. Just when it started to look like spring

  9. I totally missed the magnolia blossoms in our area this year. I must have blinked on the warm day. Your last photo is great, though. And I liked the lighting in the pictures of the lambs.
