Gobble Gobble

I hope you all have a nice Thanksgiving meal if you celebrate it. I will be horsing around with  family and friends, eating a tiny bit so I have room to sample all the desserts.

This guy came for lunch, bringing a side dish of a tiny bug in it's mouth.

  1. those turkeys don't seem the least bit concerned that they might end up on your Thanksgiving table.

  4. So many turkeys! They're really multiplying, aren't they? It used to be very rare to see one. The other day, a friend of mine, who lives in a busy suburb, had five of them in her yard. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving. Go easy on those desserts!

  6. What, you still have bluebirds? And look at all those turkeys! We have them traipsing through our yard too. The local animal control and police have been culling these guys but not very successfully. Happy Thanksgiving!

  7. Indeed. The small Norwegian heritage town of Mable near were I live in Bluff Country also celebrates turkey day. A visit to the local elementary school a few years back saw a bulletin board with the following headline. Gooble! Gooble! I believe it was pronounced the same way there. Goo Ball Goo Ball. Have a good one Steve....:)
