Tiny Is Mighty

Even the smallest of finds like this Ruby-throated Hummingbird are fun to take notice of around me. I had to laugh when I saw this from far away. I may have to be called Eagle Eye.

A tiny frog, about the size of your thumb,  watches me . You can see it still has a tail so it has recently gone through a change.

This is a baby Red-winged Blackbird all wet from a recent rain. It seemed to want a dry place to rest.

  2. What a group of cute little things, Steve, especially the frog😉. I had never seen a young red winged blackbird and refer its coloration to the adult version. And, you do have an eagle eye to capture these images and more importantly you pay attention to what's around.

  3. You did a good job capturing the shot of the hummingbird. They can be challenging to photograph. Great shots of the baby red-winged blackbird, too. And the Tohee. That Astilbe is beautiful. Nice post.
