The End Of The Year Is Near

Sunrise on Christmas Day
The power of the day
Filled the sky with beauty
Out on the prairie.
Franklin Gulls with a few female Mallards
Goldfinches keeping a lot of their golden color made me wonder if it was because of the mild winter.

Tufted Titmouse

Blue Jay

Female Cardinal
Male Cardinal
A bit of green in December

A Trumpeter Swan family, two youngsters with their parents. Their call sounds like a French Horn.

  1. Merry Christmas. It is snowing like crazy here, so I enjoyed your walk. It was beautiful there.

  5. we're having a mild winter too so far. or rather, we are having a regular winter. the last several have been colder than normal. we get those same birds. well, only seen a goldfinch once and no eagles or swans.
