Feather In The Wind

A feather in the wind
Lands on sparkly snow
It lands just for a moment
And floats off with love in tow.

An old hotel
One can canoe
Or kayak to.

Love that white tail
Franklin Gulls flying
Floating on ice flows

 Alien eggs

  2. Hi OOTP - lovely photos .. and ice-flows ... they're threatening colder weather here - could do without it! Wonderful shots and the eagle with ruffled feathers ... and your cow with her white tail .. cheers Hilary

  4. Love the feather.. the fish (yum!) and the old hotel. It looks so cold there but your images always have a warmth to them. Probably because they're photographed with love.

  5. Very pretty with the feather in the snow. The alien eggs are fascinating. I've never seen anything like that before

  6. You seem to have lots of eagles in your area. I guess they like the freezing water where they can pick up dead ducks or fish,

  7. I have a series of pieces planned on feathers but on sand, not snow. perhaps I'll do one on snow as a contrast. and I see the river has not frozen over yet as you are still getting fish.

  11. Always beautiful photos. I got to go home and here the geese with my own ears, but I sure appreciate that you listened for me. Enjoy those beautiful eagles. Did you ever stay in the hotel? It is certainly grand.

  12. There are aliens laying eggs in Iowa. I can't imagine. So far no panic apparently?
