looks like everything is getting ready for the big sleep.
I love wooly bears! They are the epitome of fall.
I hope these fine photos were taken a while ago as they're too green. Nice Halloween display.
Still lots of green here.
I haven't seen any wooly bears yet...hmmmmm
I have heard the sooner you see wooly bears, the sooner winter gets here! Haven't seen one here yet....thank goodness. I'm enjoying fall now! :)Love the last pic! HahaCheri
I like your little poem and if that would work I would be out there trying to step on all of them....lol
Hi There, I just put a picture on Facebook today showing an all-black Woolly Worm (what we call them here) in our yard... Nature tells us that if Woolly Worms are ALL-black, it will be a very hard winter this year... AND--our 'winter' is starting this weekend. On Saturday we are supposed to have a low of 28 and a high of 44 --with snow showers around.... Mercy Me!!!!Hugs,Betsy
I have seen a few of the all black woolies this year. Some think that means a bad winter.
None seen yet but I doubt there forecasts can be any less reliable than our TV weathermen and ladies....:)
Keep it positive and informative,I enjoy hearing from you!
