Wooly Bears

Wooly bear, Wooly Bear
You tell us it's soon to freeze
So if I step on all of you
Will that bring the cold to it's knees?

  8. Hi There, I just put a picture on Facebook today showing an all-black Woolly Worm (what we call them here) in our yard... Nature tells us that if Woolly Worms are ALL-black, it will be a very hard winter this year... AND--our 'winter' is starting this weekend. On Saturday we are supposed to have a low of 28 and a high of 44 --with snow showers around.... Mercy Me!!!!

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  9. I have seen a few of the all black woolies this year. Some think that means a bad winter.
