Incredible Times

The day opened with a male cardinal calling out a spring like call. I stood on my porch listening until my body got too cold. The dogs were past due a good outing and into the new snow we went.  I am sitting right now waiting for more as a 1500 mile storm sweeps through the US.

This almost looked like clouds.

That nose can get you in trouble
Especially in deep snow
We have to stop our fun
When that nose loses it's glow.

Don't let him fool you, he stayed all winter.

  2. Such a nice collection of bird images ... and your pups are having so much fun. Well, maybe all that snowy ice wrapped on one's fur might not feel so good!

  3. The caption for the dogs running in the snow should be "Joy!" They look so happy

  4. It looks so cold - even though the sun is shining. That big storm hit here about 7:15 this morning. Had the windows open and heard my wind chime go crazy. Within a few minutes the temp dropped 30 degrees. Now fog on the lake - looks like a witches brew.

Thanks for sharing this romp with the dogs. Enjoyed it.

  12. That ⛄️storm hit us here on the VA eastern shore and left about 4 inches with sleet and freezing rain as well. Nearly everything will most likely be shut down on Tues as even 2 inches is a big deal around here.
