Spring Has Sprung

Think if one never tried to use wax paper to go faster on a slide and was all dressed in white. At least I provided a good sized piece each time, but these are two story slides.Coming up soon, a never ending tale.

Some of the first Turkey Vultures announced the north bound migration of most of our Bald Eagles.

A tiny river with the sun reflecting at a sharp "V".

Two Turkey Vultures just to the right of the Eastern Cedar tree, looking over a recent prairie burn. I wondered if they were looking for Bar-B-Que?

An "A" for all of you, a grade for our friendship too.

The tiny specks of birds are over two dozen Turkey Vultures assembling to kettle to a higher altitude.

Two Great Horned Owlets in an old Red-tailed Hawks nest. The hawks will nest after this.

  4. Okay , I had to read a second time to see why the slides were in an excellent post on birds. Yes turkey vultures have become more common here in the last few yews. they use attics in abandoned houses for nesting sites. Old barns will do well too.
