Spring

A small piece of ice still persists
The changing bench sits at the fire pit
Many good stories yet circumvent
Many stories told in fun and jest
Or lots and lots of laughter
Some of the funniest stories told
Ever after.

  1. Isn't it nice seeing the cranes again? We have a few back here now, but not many newcomers since the weather went cold again. I'm hoping to have a pair nest in the marsh at my place again this year.

  3. Well---it looks much more like spring in these photos than it did in your last set... Maybe spring IS coming to your area. We, however, are still cold. It was 15 degrees early this morning on our deck... AND--we had flurries last night...

    Have a great day.

  11. I'm wondering, too, what that structure is in the first picture. Whatever it is, you've captured it well. Nice to see the Sandhill Cranes, too. Not sure what the other bird is, but it's a beauty.
