With a good friend
We share many meals and coffee
Good friends with so much fun.
I take her to my garden
Out on the prairie
Amazing beauty
As far as my eye
Can see.
3 babies
Turkey dance in a snowstorm.
It came back to me, again and again.
Just love the horses... Fun pics, all of them!
ReplyDeleteHiking is good. So are friends. How was the fishing? My arthritic fingers don't handle winter flyfishing very well...
ReplyDeleteEverything's better when shared with a friend. I enjoyed seeing the horses. The cold doesn't seem to bother them.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a positively great hike. So much to see, and nothing better than doing things together with great friends!
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Sidney, Iowa I remember hiking the bluffs. That feel of the grainy soil, loess soil, is one of a kind. The height of a bluff is deceiving as they are good at taking away your breath away by the time you get to the top.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a hike! Your walks and hikes are awesome! And those mussels made my mouth water.
ReplyDeleteBeing outdoors with a friend makes being out doors so much better. Two sets of eyes seem to see three times as much as one pair. A good story about your outing.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely can believe it. You are always on the go. Love those 3 babies
ReplyDeleteAh---neat post, Steve... There's nothing better than sharing nature with a good friend... Sounds like you had a really great time!!!!!! That is so special!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
I was going to say that the snow has gone to reveal the brown landscape waiting to green up. Then came the pictures of the snow.
