An exciting adventure looking at the land and the people around me.
Just love the horses... Fun pics, all of them!
Hiking is good. So are friends. How was the fishing? My arthritic fingers don't handle winter flyfishing very well...
Everything's better when shared with a friend. I enjoyed seeing the horses. The cold doesn't seem to bother them.
Sounds like a positively great hike. So much to see, and nothing better than doing things together with great friends!
When I lived in Sidney, Iowa I remember hiking the bluffs. That feel of the grainy soil, loess soil, is one of a kind. The height of a bluff is deceiving as they are good at taking away your breath away by the time you get to the top.
That's quite a hike! Your walks and hikes are awesome! And those mussels made my mouth water.
Being outdoors with a friend makes being out doors so much better. Two sets of eyes seem to see three times as much as one pair. A good story about your outing.
I absolutely can believe it. You are always on the go. Love those 3 babies
Ah---neat post, Steve... There's nothing better than sharing nature with a good friend... Sounds like you had a really great time!!!!!! That is so special!Hugs,Betsy
I was going to say that the snow has gone to reveal the brown landscape waiting to green up. Then came the pictures of the snow.
