Still Fishing

Northern Goshawk

The wind blew in a weather front
And the Bluegill began to bite
Tiny fighters bent my pole
And made me very happy
To be drowning worms
Out on the prairie
On a very beautiful day.

  3. The Northern Goshawk is lovely. The shot of the bluegill really captured its color. Very nice. Those dead trees seem to be forming an arch, just inviting someone to walk through.

  4. Since I'm biased about the prairie, there's always something interesting and of course you've got some interesting shots.

  5. Looks like a great day for fishing... I'd be looking around at all of the beauty around rather than keeping an eye on the fish!!!! ha

  10. I had no idea the Goshawk were that far south. I saw my first and only last winter north of Duluth...

  11. Sounds like it was a perfect day to be fishing. I suspect your beautiful raptor friend agrees.

  12. Nice that the weather is still good and not too cold to drown some worms, Steve.
