Those Leaves, Just Won't Leave Me Alone

This shot looked rather Jack-Lanterish. I always like to shoot virgo, and loved this capture. I have really enjoyed the candies way too much as usual.I bought a few bags today and will take them to work this evening.

I loved attending this exhibition, a fun walk indoors. I kept humming the song.

Pumpkin

I look at all the amazing colors
Those fall colors always marvel me
This year it was the red and orange
But the yellow, bronze and golds won't let me be
Gently taking over, out on the prairie.

  2. Great capture of the Jack-O-Lantern sky, Steve. Loved the red pumpkin, too. And both of the horse photos. And the cornfield. Very nice, all of them.

  3. Very awesome color you have out on the prairie. I'm afraid ours is all gone. We now have lots of white stuff which I hope will melt.

  5. Good capture in the clouds, Steve. Often when on our road trips, we check the cloud formations and try to figure out what they could represent and it makes for a fun game. The prairie is certainly showing off its finery before winter sets in. Today we are dealing with Sandy, but are safe indoors and thankfully still have power and internet access. Keeping so many others in our thoughts.

  9. The fall grasses were so beautiful along the sides of the highway and in the esplanades, their slightly purple heads waving with the wind from the passing cars. I remarked to Marc how pretty they were. About 5 minutes later I saw a sign, 'mowers ahead'. And they were. Mowing down all the beautiful waving grasses.

  13. Lovely Fall photos, the horses and that glass pumpkin. We didn't have too many children by for their Halloween candy this year, just a few, but had loads of candy left over so Gregg took them into work this morning, at my request :) I can be really bad around chocolate. Thanks for stopping by with your good wishes, appreciated them very much. We got off really lucky compared to everyone up north, and my heart goes out to those who suffered all that devastation.
