A Lovely Walk

Phlox

Red Admiral

Tiny Iris

This poor guy met up with a propeller from a boat and was a bit dazed

The arrival of White Pelicans by the hundreds was a joy to be around. These birds are so graceful in flight and while they swim. This tiny lake was covered by them with many still remaining enjoying the abundance of food available.

Red-winged Blackbird

 Shooting Star

  16. I love to see Irises as they are an early sign of Summer or even late Spring. Pelicans in the wild what a treat, here they are only in zoos.
