An exciting adventure looking at the land and the people around me.
I'll bet you are So Happy that Spring is on it's way!!Love the bullfrog!!hughugs
Grasshoppers and bullfrogs already! Feels like it might be summer ;-)
Beautiful, colourful buds everywhere. And I love those three turtles sunning themselves. They're splendid.
So many red buds blooming there in your area, and all so beautiful. It's always a treat to see the Dutchman's Breeches. Where I grew up, they were common in our woods; but I rarely see them anymore. Loved the turtles on the log. That's not a common sight around here, either.
I think I would have a spring in my step if I had all those lovely sights to see.
The redbud is magical, it looks like a fairy land....
Oh it's contagious girl, you've put a little more spring in my step too with these beautiful pics.I'm especially taken with that fab cloud shot.God bless and have a marvelous day sweetie!!! :O)
How I love the red buds and the turtles on the log are so sweet! :)
I should like to follow your step, Steve.
**SIGHHHHHH** And what a playground you have. How blessed you are to live there, and how blessed we are, you document it so beautifully!
That molting grasshopper is amazing! Think the frog thinks it's in a spa! (Er, maybe it is, of sorts.) Magical photos, for sure.
Steve, nice to see that spring is busting out all over on the prairie and in such colorful ways. Enjoy the upcoming holiday and try to refrain for the Easter candy, but that is so hard to do
I wish we could have traveled with you to see the beautiful Iowa you show here in your blog entries. Much nicer than what is seen from the interstate. The same holds true for my own beloved West Virginia.nellie
The bull frog is cool! A great set of pictures showing Spring is bursting out everywhere.

Wow, some wonderful photos here! Spring is lingering here. It will be a long while before we get to where you are at now, maybe 6 weeks. You do give me something to look forward to though! Thanks!
Such beautiful country! We have violets and Dutchman's breeches here too but that redbud! Such a lovely color! Thanks for sharing, as always
Lots of spring signs in your area, Steve..... Love seeing the little turtles sunning themselves. We had rain last night --but today the sun is shining brightly although it is much colder outside than it had been... Oh Well--I'm not complaining. At least we didn't have a frost.Happy Easter.Betsy
Nice to see everything waking up. Beautiful flowers and trees. Love the Bullfrog and Turtles!! Have a nice weekend and Easter!
