  4. So many red buds blooming there in your area, and all so beautiful. It's always a treat to see the Dutchman's Breeches. Where I grew up, they were common in our woods; but I rarely see them anymore. Loved the turtles on the log. That's not a common sight around here, either.

  11. That molting grasshopper is amazing! Think the frog thinks it's in a spa! (Er, maybe it is, of sorts.) Magical photos, for sure.

  12. Steve, nice to see that spring is busting out all over on the prairie and in such colorful ways. Enjoy the upcoming holiday and try to refrain for the Easter candy, but that is so hard to do

  13. I wish we could have traveled with you to see the beautiful Iowa you show here in your blog entries. Much nicer than what is seen from the interstate. The same holds true for my own beloved West Virginia.

  20. Lots of spring signs in your area, Steve..... Love seeing the little turtles sunning themselves.

We had rain last night --but today the sun is shining brightly although it is much colder outside than it had been... Oh Well--I'm not complaining. At least we didn't have a frost.

    Happy Easter.
