An exciting adventure looking at the land and the people around me.
Hej Steve! What lovely photos. I have really enjoyed them. I love those wooden buildings and the windmill. And the cattle with the long horns!Hello to the sweet cat...Grethe ´)
The simple lines of the windmill shot... it's been so long. Deep, comfortable sigh. :)
Serene is definitely good. I tend to think it mostly goes with mostly rural (except for those tornados).
It really is peaceful and quiet out there.Unlike busy big cities.Costas
Your photos almost....feel silent. As if I can hear the quiet captured within them. Amazing.
Oh, pretty! I love the little chickadee.
Great post title for this post, Steve. Serene, perfectly illustrated.
Once again you have showed us what a wonderful piece of the world you live in. Yes, serene!
and just like that, the snow is gone.
doesn't get much more serene than that. Very nice
Steve, all those photos do ressonate as 'serene' but gotta love that last photo of the kitty; how sweet!
You're right, nothing more serene. I love watching livestock eating it's very calming. Was the cat watching the birds. Mine does even though he's too old to hunt anymore he just likes to remember
Beautiful shots--there is just something about old buildings and windmills that is interesting and "arty". Nice variety of wildlife too--one of the benefits of living "out on the prairie"! Thanks for the nice comments on my daughter's wedding--so glad it is over. Have a great week. Mickie :)
Beautiful images as always. The colours in the first one just made me sigh.
Lovely spring photos, Steve. Loving the barns! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead.
