An exciting adventure looking at the land and the people around me.
Steve, wonderful photos and I'm like you, there is nothing like being the very first person to make your mark in perfectly formed snow scapes....
The second to the last photo is beautiful!! They all are, but that one -- wow!
I have yet to enjoy seeing my footprints in the snow this winter. Love this post Steve, the words, the photos, and especially loved the last but one of the reflection of trees, all beautiful shots!
Love it, Steve.... I want to be the first footprints in the snow!!!! I also love to look for wildlife prints in the snow... SO much fun.. BUT--since I've mentioned it many times, we just haven't gotten much snow here at all this winter. Sigh!!!!! I am certainly enjoying seeing pictures like yours though.. Thanks.Betsy
Beautiful sequence of pictures. I agree completely. There is something soothing about being first after a morning snowfall.... as long as the wind isn't howling and it's -25 degrees...
I have never thought about it in these terms before. Nice post and pictures. Have a good week.
Great pics. Looks like you found plenty of interesting things on your walk.
I am whispering the reply as to shout would be inappropriate here. Lovely photos illustrating your walk. How interesting this walk was.
I love the look of snow before anything had marred it, and I even hate to be the one to do it. I really liked the picture of the reflection of the trees in the water. Very nice.
Just beautiful! Thank you for this winter wonderland!
It is pretty but I'll leave it for you to wander in and me to look at the pictures.
Oh WOW! LOVE the reflections!!!"Cool" shots Steve!!hughugs
It sure is pretty and even more so than when it's in my yard :) I've always loved seeing the snow before anyone gets to it. Once you get a bunch of tracks running through it it's not quite as pretty
Excellent collection of photos, Steve.I love your shadow on the snow.
Love the second to last photo with the reflection in the water, surrounded by snow. Beautiful! :)
I always like being the first footprints in the snow too. It looks so clean and fresh when nobody has been there, but I like at least my tracks there.
The lonely leaf and the twisted twigs are favorites.
Great pics! I see you like playing in the snow too! I love seeing snow pictures for a change.
Way too many favorites in there. So captures the cold for me. (Maybe I lived in the snow for too long.) Beautiful, though. Truly.
Even though I'm sick of snow you've made it look very beautiful
You see and express the poetry that surrounds you...it's a gift.
Well, you've succeeded in making me miss the snow we really haven't had. There is a peaceful here... thank you!
Steve, you are making me envious cause you get to go out and play in that fluffy white stuff. We are really missing it here as are a lot of other folks. So thanks for letting us know that some areas are enjoying winter.
There you are, my friend! Sweet heart in the snow, that's the Steve I know. xo
Beautiful. I especially love the trees and tangles.
Keep it positive and informative,I enjoy hearing from you!
