Brenda Photo Challenge- Dog Day's Of Summer

 Those Dog Day's of Summer

Leave us for a bit just to see

 The cool coming at us

Little dogs looking for shade say finally

It's been hot out on the prairie

But giving up this season, I still am not ready.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Brenda and her family in the sudden lose of her husband this last week. We often take life for granted that it will always grace us in it's beauty, and it is tough to let it go, no matter what the consequences may be. You are in my thoughts, carried on a gentle breeze out on the prairie.
Steve

  2. Such a beautiful collection of summer photos! I think the sunset is my favorite, with the light dancing in the clouds. And those are such sweet words for Miz Brenda.

  8. I'm ready for the heat to move out, but I'm not quite ready to see winter moving in. Maybe we'll be blessed with an extra-long, pleasantly cool autumn. That third picture is especially nice.

  19. I am lost when it comes to Wooly-Worm weather forecasts. I used to see them on the bike trail and now, I don't go out much and have not seen one this year.
