Happy May Day!

The first tulips are fading

Still lots of new ones to see

New flowers that surprise me

Something always different to see.

Little greenhouses

Medium greenhouses

Great big greenhouses

Tell me what I need

Should I plant this plant

Or start it from seed?

  1. What, pray tell, is the green foliage in a swirled pattern? I think I would like some of that in my rock gardens. And, the other photos are lovely, too, sweet kitty behind the screen. I love Bleeding Hearts. I have a rather large planting of those. They are just exquisite to look at up close. Happy May !

  4. I could gaze at flower photos for hours on end and never grow tired of their beauty. Tulips are among my favorites too, because they're just so bright and cheerful! And speaking of greenhouses, that is one thing that is very high up on my wishlist. My plant collection would be so amazing if I had the extra space to let them flourish!

  5. A beautiful May Day collection there for sure. I must say though, its hard to get in the May Basket spirit around here today with very high wind and downright cold.

  12. Nosey Rosey in the window is Rascal, watching me plant a few more things. The swirled plant is Begonia Rex-"Escargot". When I saw it it had to go home with me.I found two more trays of plants over the weekend and enlarged a bed to make room for even more.

  14. The flowers all make excellent pictures, but I think my favorite is the cat looking through the screen. I'm not exactly sure why though.
