Great post, Steve.... Looks like a great year. Your grandbaby is adorable!!! I'm so glad that we have new beginnings ---like a new year... OR --even like the seasons. Seeing pictures like you posted of the season changes brings us all HOPE.... Have a fabulous 2011, Steve.Betsy
Breathtaking photos! Thanks for sharing such beauty. It's really hard to pick my favourite.Happy New Year!Betty
What wonderful photos, particularly the nature ones.Like you, I despair at the loss of habitat for wildlife. Mankind is destroying the planet and our children will pay the price.Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting.
Beautiful retrospective!Have a Happy New Year!
Especially fond of the black locust tree blooms, Steve. Those are one of my favorite Springtime bloomers. :)
Absolutely awesome pics... The colors of the flowers the stark white ice... First time here, I really enjoyed my stay here!!Have a nice day:-)
Love, love the quote. The prairie is certainly a beautiful place no matter what time of year it is. I'm guess since there is a blog post here today that the gift did not explode...lol
Beautiful Steve!!!!I can't decide which one I like best....those icicles are breathtaking, the squirrel is hanging onto that tree wonderfully, I want to sit on that bench by the rocks....your family looks lovely....they are all a wonderful review of your year! Thank you for sharing with us.
Just loved these photographs. I'm so happy you shared them. What a wonderful selection, and so many different themes!
I enjoyed seeing your photos from the year. Your grand baby is a sweetie!
Those are amazing photos. Love them. They are sooooooooo beautiful.Have a good day
That bench near the rocks keeps cool through the summer with air coming through the cave behind it.These were fun to share and surprising how hard it was to narrow a couple from each month. We had a thaw, but it is reall cold again so the ice on the pond is like a mirror, except where a deer went through.I won't get much done today if it gets up to 20.Ice skating is a priority, come join me!
That looks like a great year you had, fantastic images and it was lovely seeing you with your daughter, and your little granddaughter, a lovely family to be sure. Thanks for stopping by. I think you and Kay are correct in your ID. We have a lot of Cooper’s Hawks around here, thought am still surprised I saw one right in the middle of the city. I bought a Rockwell book at the store museum. It was a lovely exhibit and I hadn’t seen many of the paintings before.
Love your blog!! Thanks for coming over to Arizona. I love this state and I love the desert but I just cannot handle the summer heat. That lasts for six months. So I'm loving this cool spell. I love Iowa. I've been through there at times and always want to stay. The farm girl in me never left. :)
Perfectly gorgeous moments. Such colourful and engaging images.
Beautiful family and photos. How was that squirrel hanging on like that?
Why did I miss out on these posts? There are a number I seem to have missed! These are wonderful!
Keep it positive and informative,I enjoy hearing from you!
