Just Horsing Around

These burros were hard to pass by.

These are a cross with a huge Belgium workhorse.

  2. Beautiful horses and I wouldn't have been able to resist the burros either. There are a couple horse farms that I drive by regularly and always want to stop and take pictures. Maybe one of these days I will.

  5. Burros!? I haven't heard that word in so long, Steve... haven't you got a story for us up your sleeve about a burro in the midwest?

  6. Very nice composite. I like horses although I have no real experience with them. Once three followed me across a pasture down to a trout stream. They even came up to me when I stopped by the stream to get my gear ready. Curious and friendly, I thought.

  7. Horses can be very inquisitive, and if you are not used to them perhaps scary.I think those that have been given treats are more apt to follow you.I find them fun to watch as I do the other stock people have on the prairie.I love to ride as many of you know.Don't have any burro stories other than most you see around here have been rescued from federal lands where they have overpopulated.
